Hortaleza Professional Keratin Hot Oil Treatment

Today, I went around the city to scout for some good hair products for my hair. Just last week, I had my hair colored at a salon. I actually have my hair colored every 6 months because I love it looks on my hair. After getting my hair colored, my hair became really dry especially at its ends. Since I don't want to spend so much for Hot Oil Treatments at the salon which costs around P500-P1,000, I decided to do D.I.Y. hair treatments to bring my hair's condition back. So here's what I bought at HBC in SM Ecoland : Hortaleza Professional Keratin Hot Oil Treatment  for only P139.00.

This is how the contents looks like.

 Procedures:
1. Shampoo your hair then towel dry.
2. Apply Hortaleza Professional Keratin Hot Oil Treatment over your hair.
3. Using a warm towel, cover your hair then cover it again with a shower cap. Leave it for 20-30 minutes.
4. Wash your hair. You need not shampoo again! Remember, it's a mortal sin for curly girls to always use shampoo for it leaves our hair dry and frizzy!
 5. Air dry your hair. I discourage using hair blowers because it still involves heat and might leave our hair dry.
6. You may use any leave in conditioner or mousse to keep our locks beautiful all day long. Btw, I'll be posting another blog about this!

Here is my hair after treatment:

Overall, I love how this product works on my hair! My hair's so soft and it's color is more defined. I will surely recommend this to everyone who wants revive dry hair due to chemicals from hair coloring. Hope you'll try this product and let me hear from your experience! :)

Be REAL, Be YOU, Be HAPPY!

Hi curly sisters! First of, I apologize for my poor blog website. I'm not that gifted when it comes to designing websites nor good in writing. But since I've always wanted to share my thoughts, learnings, ideas and passions to others, I created this blog for all naturally curly girls out there (like me!) to teach everyone to learn to love their own natural hair. I've been through hair irons to hair straightening treatments such as "relax", so I guess I could relate to every curly girl who has to spend so much and suffer the pain of hair chemicals on their scalps every time they get their hair straightened. I was born with a curly hair together with an insecurity being different from my sibling(they all had straight thick hair). Because of that, I grew up with a hairstyle of only tying my hair back with matching hair gel so that my curly hair won't stick up and look messy in the middle of the day. I even remembered looking at myself in the mirror while brushing my hair for hours thinking that my hair would become straight if I comb it all the time. When I got to fourth year college, here comes the dawn of HAIR RELAX. Sad to say, I did give in to peer pressure. Good thing straight hair did look good on me! haha At that moment, I really felt beautiful and that I belonged, that I'm not different with the crowd. It was quite obsessing to see my hair that straight from being so kinky curly so every after 3 months, I always make sure to get my hair relaxed at the salon so that the newly grown natural curly hair will not be obvious. After almost 3 years of suffering, I realized my hair was starting to thin and my hair scalp had wounds that took so long to heal due to chemicals used in straightening.  That moment, I finally had the courage to stop getting hair straightening treatments, chop my hair so short (above shoulder level) and go natural. It was absolutely the worse phase in my life. I felt so ugly having short curly hair, plus, I didn't know how to manage it. But through time, I finally got to learn how to manage my hair and I couldn't be any happier and contented with what I have accomplished today. I hope that every post I make, I could inspire, motivate and teach anyone to love their own and nurture it. We don't have to look like the others to be beautiful. We are beautiful because we are different. Be REAL, Be YOU, Be HAPPY! See you in my next posts! Toodles!
